Mayor Gray’s approval surges, ethics remain a concern in April Democratic primary

Vincent Gray’s job approval ratings have fully recovered from a drop two years ago when campaign ethics charges were raised, buoyed by rave reviews for attracting businesses to the city and rising optimism for the city’s direction. He now leads the crowded Democratic primary field by double digits in his bid for a second term, but his ethics remain a factor in the race. Read related article.

Source: This Washington Post poll was conducted by telephone January 9 to 12, 2014, among a random sample of 1,003 adults living in Washington D.C., including users of both conventional and cellular phones. The results from the full survey have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus four percentage points. The error margin is five points for the 669 voters registered as Democrats or who plan do so.
